Last Day of August

Hello! I am still alive! I know that I've been off the map as of late. I have been battling some health problems and am happy to say that I am back on my feet and my blog. I've just started some fall shopping and my favorite purchase so far is my new floral doc martens that I just can't wait to wear!

Oh Audrey! Hepburn that is.

My personal favorite style icon is Audrey Hepburn, from the tips of her toes to the lushness of her lashes, she is the picture of class. She is the original, where all inspiration (or at least most ) starts. Even Jackie O took her cues from Ms Hepburn. For those of you who need a refresher in Audrey course, here are a few fast facts.

- born Audrey Kathleen Ruston May 4, 1929
- died January 1993 at age 63
- 2 ex husbands and 2 beautiful children
- worked as humanitarian with UNCIEF for many years
- won numerous Academy, Emmy, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Tony Awards

It is undoubtedly true that Audrey was an original fashionista and an incredibly talented actress. She held her own and led an extraordinary life.
